À propos de 2048

2048 is the tile-merging puzzle that ate a lot of people's afternoons in the mid-2010s, and the StudyQuest version layers quiz questions over the same loop. You slide tiles with arrow keys or swipes, matching numbers merge into doubles, the board fills up, and the goal is to reach the 2048 tile. Questions from your uploaded material appear now and then. A correct answer earns +50 bonus points, and three wrong answers in one game ends the run.

What made the original 2048 work was a tight loop that put casual players into a flow state. This version keeps that loop and drops question moments in at points that don't really break it. Most players say they study through a 2048 session without noticing how much they've covered, which is the whole idea. Getting started is the hard part of studying, not the studying.

The three-strike budget is deliberately forgiving. Unlike Mountain Climb's harsher three lives, three wrong per game lets you work through tougher question pools without the run ending too soon. The tradeoff is that the puzzle itself is harder than most StudyQuest games. Reaching 2048 takes real skill, so the long-game challenge comes from the puzzle, not the questions.

Best for students who already enjoy 2048. If you bounced off the original, this won't change your mind. But if 2048 was a guilty pleasure on your phone, it can be a productive one now. Every merge session also racks up review on material you need to know.

Questions fréquentes

How is this different from regular 2048?

Same puzzle, plus a quiz question every several merges. The puzzle is unchanged and the studying sits on top. If you want pure 2048, this isn't the place. If you want to play 2048 and review material at the same time, it is.

How often do questions appear?

Every few significant merges, not on a fixed timer. The cadence feels fairly natural. You're not interrupted mid-thought, but you're not going long stretches without studying either.

Can I keep playing after reaching 2048?

Yes. Like the original, the puzzle continues past 2048 and you can chase 4096 and beyond. More play time means more questions answered, so longer sessions mean more review.

What happens after three wrong answers?

Game over, wherever you are on the puzzle. The board is saved as a screenshot but the run ends. Restarting is immediate and free, and the wrong answers feed your weak-spot tracker.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes. Swipe controls map cleanly to tile movement, which is how the original was designed. The mobile version holds up against desktop.
